Grade 2 - Where we are in place and time
In this unit of inquiry the students investigated how the Earth’s physical geography impacts human interaction and settlement. They inquired into different types of landforms and how resources influence where humans settle. The students also made connections to the related concepts of geography, settlements and resources. The transdisciplinary skills they developed were dialectical thought, observing, planning and formulating questions.
